Mobility & Stretching

The Mobility & Stretching classes offered at O'Wellness aim to increase joint mobility and improve muscle flexibility. While relaxing the body with controlled transitions and flowing movements, they help reduce the risk of injury. They offer a balanced experience that improves everyday movement quality.

Mobility & Stretching is a 45-minute, low-intensity movement quality class that aims to increase joint range of motion and muscle flexibility. It focuses on the areas most restricted in daily life and training, especially the hips, spine (thoracic region), shoulders and ankles.

The class has three sections: 10 minutes of breathing and gentle joint rotations (CARs), 25 minutes of active mobility and controlled stretching (a combination of PNF, dynamic and static stretching), and 10 minutes of deep relaxation. Movements are performed slowly, in a controlled way and within a pain-free range; repetition and consistency matter more than forcing.

Scheduled for the day after intense strength, cycle or HIIT days, the Mobility & Stretching session speeds up recovery and reduces the risk of injury. It is an indispensable part of the weekly programme for our members who work at a desk.
